Independent ventilation

The independent ventilation function can be activated in ignition lock position 1 or via pre-programming by means of the multi-information display (MID). Various settings are possible dependent on the ignition lock position.

Statuses at ignition lock 1:

• Operating unit is active
  
• Temperature control not active (water valves closed)
  
• Flap program is adjustable
  
• Blower is adjustable
  
• Button block not active
  

Statuses at ignition lock 0:

• Operating unit not active
  
• Temperature control OFF (water valves closed)
  
• Fresh air flap position 100%
  
• Recirculated air flap position 0%
  
• Mixing air flap position 0%
  
• Defrost flap position 0%
  
• Ventilation flap position 100%
  
• Footwell/rear area flap position 0%
  
• Rear area ventilation flap position 0%
