Diagnostic interface

The DSC3 control unit has self-diagnosis capabilities. Any faults which occur are stored in a non-volatile memory and can be read out for the purpose of troubleshooting.

The following diagnostic functions have been realized:

• Control unit identification
  
• Read fault code memory
  
• Delete fault code memory
  
• Read input signals (sensor values, battery voltage, statuses of solenoid valves, pumps, relay, switches, buttons)
  
• Component activation (solenoid valves, pumps, indicator lamps)
  
• Test modules (program-controlled troubleshooting procedure)
  
• Service functions (test code, reset ABS motor relay timing counter, sensor matching, bleeding hydraulics, final inspection)
  

Important!

The DSC3 control unit features a non-volatile fault code memory. In warranty cases, print out test code and do not delete defect code memory!
